| The latest meeting of Furness RAM No 36 was a brief affair being the annual business meeting. |
| Phil Burrow was declared commander elect by the present incumbent John Broadhurst. Russ Greenhow was once again elected to the office of treasurer. |

| It was revealed that Paul Rose MBE will be taking over the lodge pen from long standing scribe Peter Hampson at the installation meeting. The lodge owe a debt of gratitude to Peter for the manner in which he managed its affairs in his long tenure as scribe. |
| Phil can look forward to a busy and rewarding year with two proposals for elevation being made. There is another in the pipeline as well. |

| Although a short meeting it was enjoyable once again to be amongst fellow Royal Ark Mariners and enjoy their company. |
